This is salted rice malt! Simply add 250cc of water and wait 7-10 days for an umami packed all purpose seasoning!


Thanks to its resealable feature, you can use however much you want and store the rest for later.

The resulting salt koji is a versatile seasoning that enhances and highlights the taste of the ingredients you use.
Pickle vegtables, dip food, or use in plenty of other ways!

Our recommendation: Knead chicken with the salt koji and soak overnight, put in a baking dish, wrap, and heat in the microwave for 3 minutes at 600W. Turn over and steam for 3 minutes, flip over and steam for another 3 minutes.

The result is a moist and soft chicken! With the method above, you can prepare and arrange carious Japanese, Western, or Chinese dishes.
